Position Overview

 

We are looking for an experienced and results-driven SEO Specialist to develop and implement effective search engine strategies to improve organic traffic, search rankings, and digital visibility for our marketplace and service verticals. You’ll work closely with the content, product, and tech teams to ensure SEO best practices are baked into our website, listings, and content architecture.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct in-depth keyword research and market analysis to identify content and optimization opportunities

• Optimize on-page elements (meta tags, titles, headers, alt tags, URLs, internal linking) for all pages, product listings, blogs, and service pages

• Create and execute a comprehensive SEO strategy for multiple verticals: Marketplace, Services, Repair, and Recycling

• Work with developers to improve site structure, page speed, crawlability, and mobile responsiveness

• Monitor and report on SEO performance metrics, using tools like Google Search Console, Google Analytics, Ahrefs, and SEMrush

• Identify technical SEO issues and collaborate with developers to fix them (schema, redirects, indexing, canonical tags, etc.)

• Plan and oversee off-page SEO strategies including backlinks, guest posts, partnerships, and directory listings

• Perform regular audits to ensure SEO hygiene and compliance with search engine algorithms

• Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and algorithm updates in the SEO landscape

Preferred Qualifications

• 2–4 years of proven experience as an SEO Specialist, preferably in e-commerce or tech platforms

• Strong understanding of on-page, off-page, and technical SEO

• Experience using SEO tools like Ahrefs, SEMrush, Screaming Frog, Google Data Studio, etc.

• Working knowledge of HTML, CSS, and CMS platforms (e.g., Laravel Blade templates, WordPress)

• Strong analytical and reporting skills

• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced startup environment

• Experience with local SEO and structured data/schema implementation

• Basic understanding of Laravel and e-commerce CMS
